Mandala Project
Using Math in art can be the most wonderful thing. You can take your art piece to a whole other level by making it precise and making it even. For example you can make amazing designs with using composes that would be really hard or impossible to make by hand. And being super precise was a big part of my work to make sure that it could look reflected and parallel to each other. If I did it with no tools then it wouldn't look right and be all lob sided.
Reflection: Its when A reflection is a mirror shaped of the image. An image will reflect through a line, known as the line of reflection. A figure is said to be a reflection of the other figure.
Parallel Lines: These are two lines that will never touch no matter how far it goes.
Perpendicular Lines: It makes four 90 degree angles
Angle Bisector: Its when an angle is cut perfectly in half.
Rotation: A rotation has a central point that stays fixed and everything else moves around that point in a circle.
Translation:A translation is when a shape is moved without changing its size and angles. There are a lot of translations in my mandala.
